Empowering Veterans, Changing Lives
At The American Foundation for Life Challenges and Cures, we are a veteran-founded nonprofit dedicated to helping disabled veterans overcome obstacles and build a stable future. Inspired by a Navy veteran’s legacy of giving, we provide financial relief, advocacy, and meaningful experiences to improve veterans' lives. Our mission is rooted in action, commitment, and the belief that no veteran should face challenges alone. Through hands-on assistance and a strong community, we strive to make a real, lasting difference for those who served our country.
Standing With Veterans Every Step of the Way
We are more than a nonprofit—we are a promise to those who served. Our commitment is to provide financial relief, support, and community for disabled veterans, ensuring they receive the care, respect, and stability they deserve. Easing Financial Stress for Veterans
Owning a home should bring stability, not financial strain. Our Mortgage Assistance Program helps disabled veterans pay down their mortgages, reducing financial burdens so they can focus on their well-being. We’re here to support those who served by ensuring they can stay in a safe, secure home.

A Symbol of Strength & Giving
Inspired by a Navy veteran’s passion for growing pineapple plants, this program allows supporters to give back in a unique way. For every $25 donation or more, we send a live pineapple plant—a lasting symbol of resilience, growth, and gratitude for those who support our mission.

Guidance From Those Who Understand
No one understands a veteran’s struggles better than another veteran who has walked the same path. Our Veteran-to-Veteran Peer Support Program provides a trusted space for mentorship, shared experiences, and real-world advice, ensuring that no veteran has to face challenges alone or feel unheard.
